M House is a small addition to an 1830s house on Fall Creek Gorge. In addition to interior renovations of master bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, the addition includes a wrap around balcony and addition to the basement to accommodate a new apartment. The corten steel facade is a figural contrast to the house and continues the formal language of M's father's small window box additions in the 1970s while including floral motif cutouts that connect M's enthusiasm for plants with 1830s horticultural imagery.
